The harsh, sculpted land begged as the waves came. Again and again, roar and crash, the waves launched its attack upon the bleeding landscape. These mountainous edges of the world trying to escape. The endless ocean never yielding as the white sea foam sprayed the barren land as if it were rain. The sky was painted with clouds colored white and black. A distorted neutral hue. The clouds slowly moved as the heavy air whipped through the realm’s unconstrained atmosphere, howling and moaning. The gloomy sky was a mirrored match with the land. It was grey upon grey. The landscape manically stretched far from the merciless waves into the jagged horizon. The land cascaded from valley to mountain, from hill to valley, with never a restful place. The lifeless land was illuminated by only a tiny star. A mere speck of light that stood defiantly in the vast dark heavens. Day and night were inseparable except for the changing color of the tyrannical ocean. At the time of this single starlight, the immense ocean would transform into a silvery, abstract spectacle. The forming waves would glisten and shine brightly in its conquering rhythm. The rolling, spiral of a colliding wave would be seen like a million upon million silver candles rose from its black depths. It was beautiful in the solidarity of water and stone. It was an unknown realm to the rest of the great beyond, with an unborn soul. Like its terrible, majestic waves, it too will spiral and fall but rise in a grand spectacle with the infant universe.
Grey Waves is an epic fantasy set in the Acirhurocos realm. The sacred groves of the Cereish are targeted by unknown forces. The Neuvicians are being secretly enslaved for magic. Rumors of the powerful Axonis nation surrounding Cavas causes uproar in the allied kingdoms. Whispers of the Towers afflicting the land leads to unrest. The ferocious ebb and flow of the waves binds them all.
This storytelling journey I have embarked is simply for my own creative outlet. This is for me. Once it is finished, I will gladly share it with others. Be on the lookout for updates for I am still creating the outline.
I do not have a social media account; however, I would love to hear any constructive criticism.
